Friends is on a Bye! week - will set new record for email participants next week

Just a quick reminder that there will be no Friends newsletter this week due to the July 4 holiday tomorrow.

We will resume on July 10. Our topic will focus on the search for a permanent Executive Director for the non-profit CMPA, Inc. The following week, July 17, we will look at an update on progress made with a critical component of the park , The John H. Fetterman State of Florida Maritime Museum at the UWF Community Maritime Park campus.

We're pleased to announce that we have opened the reconfigured sign-up page for those seeking to be on the email database for Friends of the Vince S. Whibbs Sr. Community Maritime Park. The address is:

Please direct anyone interested in getting on the email list to visit the site and sign-up.

If you have publications or mailing lists, it is greatly appreciated if you send our sign-up address out so we can get the widest possible distribution of the emailing. Also, if you have email lists and wish to have people on those lists get the Friends' emailings, we can import an unlimited number of email addresses. Of course, your Friends don't sell, lend, or in any other way share their database with any other parties. Your email list is safe with your Friends.

If you want to participate in helping your Friends, you can be an Email Relay Participant. We can send a copy of the newsletter to you in any format desired so that you can then either forward it to all the members of your list, or include it in your other emailings, or post it on your favorite forums, blogs, and message baords.
