Just a very brief reminder that all Friends are invited to attend this meeting!

"Public Strongly Urged to Attend" meeting at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8!

Make plans now to meet with your Friends this Wednesday, August 8, at 2 PM, on the First Floor of the Pensacola City Hall in the Whibbs Conference Room -- This is your chance to participate in the selection of the Executive Director for the non-profit Community Maritime Park Associates' (non-profit CMPA). Don't miss this meeting!

On August 8, the Board of Trustees' ExDi search subcommittee will begin culling applicants for the Executive Director's position - it's open to the public, and it's vitally important - so make plans to be there!

Take time to participate in selecting the permanent Executive Director. Download the file, go through it for yourself, and then click on the names of the subcommittee members below that follow in this newsletter. Your email program will open up, and you can send your thoughts directly to the people voting on who makes the cut, and who does not.

On August 8, get there early and introduce yourself to the subcommittee members. Let them know you are a Friend of the Pensacola Bay Area's Vince J. Whibbs Community Maritime Park. They will be so very happy to meet you, and they will respect you for giving up a portion of your valuable time to participate by emailing your thoughts, and then sitting in on the meeting. Refresh their memory of your email to them, and ask if they have any questions for you.

We voted "Yes!" because this is the community's park, and your direct participation is what it takes to make a difference!

If you haven't signed up with your local information for the newsletter, this is your chance to knock out two birds with one stone. While downloading the resumes, take the few seconds needed to update us on your information.

REMINDER: All Friends information is double firewalled for your privacy. Friends' information is NEVER shared with any outside parties, campaigns, civic groups, or anyone else - it is used exclusively for Friends and FRIENDS ONLY!
