Mr. Hall:

The Community Maritime Park is a public-private partnership that finally gives Pensacolians a productive claim to its water front heritage. Our university will provide the research and expertise required to maintain a museum and educational facilities. The multi-use stadium will offer us many activities – sports, concerts, performances, graduations and more. The profit seeking enterprises that will invest in the CMP will add employment and income to our young citizens, and will generate new tax revenues to the public sector for further economic development. The sustainable economic ripple of this venture will be felt along the entire waterfront, and through the whole community. Pensacola, long the “gateway to the panhandle,” will become its “pearl” as well. I urge all efforts in seeking financing to fulfill the public mandate for this vital project.
