Subject: WE WANT OUR COMMUNITY MARITIME PARK

Dear Honorable Hall,

Pensacola needs to have a Community Maritime Park to further strengthen our city. It will bring in more businesses, tourist, and a place for local residents to go. I fully support the need for this park and have made a small contribution towards its funding. As a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer, I like the Air Museum at NAS and look forward to the park where my granddaughters can play. I did not grow up here in Pensacola, but fell in love with the area when I came to Corry Station for the first of three training schools here and finally my last duty station before retiring in 1995. We decided to stay here and raise our two kids. By having the park, it just an additional plus for everyone to go to, the area has a lot of excellent places of interest.
