I can only speak for myself and my peers. This project is the most important project (along with moving the waste treatment facility) to happen in our lifetime. Some of us who have lived elsewhere struggle to understand why this is not moving forward faster. It is a relatively small public investment for the rewards it represents. We (again me and my peers) are chasing outside checks...the ones it will take to jumpstart our economy and bring jobs. Charles Wood and Craig Dalton (Chamber) are poised for great things – sitting on top major wins – The vibe is good...we are getting noticed, we can begin raking in wins. I cannot imagine the backlash and consequences if this project stalls or faces another vote. We count on your steadfast leadership and vision in seeing the win for this community. It is no longer about what side you were on in this discussion – moving forward we have to decide on what is best for the community at large and if the thousands of letters, outside input, research, studies aren’t enough to tell us developing and reclaiming our waterfront is a win for one and all I am at a complete loss. Pensacola gets new life with a revitalized, developed waterfront. It is the quickest win with the biggest gain for all. When life replaces weeds we will attract attention, all good things and only good things will come from it. I am sorry if the supporters overwhelmed you – we are ready at all times to do what is needed to make sure this project moves forward.

Thanks for all you do!
