Subject: We Want Our CMP!

Dear Mr. Hall,

I am in favor of the maritime park and have given some information to be included in the Museum. My grandfather was the Harbor Master from 1904 until his death in 1924. My Great grandfather had several schooners docked at or near Muskogee wharf in the 1800s, and ran a ship repair facility in Pensacola Bay.

We have a rich maritime history in Pensacola, and our founding as a city was based on our excellent natural harbor and resources. Why shouldn’t a Maritime park and Museum show case our history and culture?
