Honorable Sam Hall,

I am not accustomed to writing letters of this sort. I like others sit on our hands and let the vocal minority dictate policy.

I desire to express a message to the City Council of Pensacola pertaining to the Waterfront Park. PLEASE, get moving in a direction with some thought for the future of this area. We have few good paying jobs to keep the youth here. We have few attractions for visitors to this area. The lack of leadership in OUR local governments will cause this area to crumble as others cities in our area look to the future.

The perfect balance for Pensacola and Escambia County is a tax base that does not rely on the military or the retired for taxation. This project will bring in a source of revenue to balance any whim that is outside of our control. A revitalized downtown, new ventures and new visitors to our beautiful home will be a benefit to ALL ages.

Please make a stand and take a leadership role and not just do what the vocal minority shouts.
